Effect of resveratrol on mouse ovarian vitrification and transplantation

Abstract Background After ovarian tissue transplantation, ischemia-reperfusion injury and free radicals cause follicle depletion apoptosis. Therefore, the use of antioxidants to reduce production is an important method address consequences injury. Resveratrol a natural active polyphenol compound with anti-inflammatory, antitumor, strong antioxidant anti-free radical properties. The aim this study was investigate whether resveratrol could improve effect autologous transplantation after cryopreserve-thawn mouse tissue. Methods Whole-ovary vitrification autotransplantation models were used effects resveratrol. Six-week-old female mice from Institute Cancer Research (ICR) subjected vitrification. All ovaries preserved in liquid nitrogen for 1 week before being thawed. thawing, tissues autotransplanted bilateral kidney capsules.
